This strawberry Rose Syrup uses dried rose buds and fresh strawberries add a fruity and floral flavor to drinks. It’s great mixing in spring and summer cocktails and goes equally well paired with aged spirits like bourbon, rum and brandy as it does with as gin and vodka.

Description

The strawberry Rose Syrup uses dried rose buds and fresh strawberries add a fruity and floral flavor to drinks. It’s great for using in spring and summer cocktails paired with aged spirits like bourbon, rum and brandy as well as gin and vodka.

Ingredients

1 cup strawberries
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp dried rose buds
3/4 cup water

Instructions

Muddle strawberries, rose buds and sugar together.
Let set for 4 hours up to 24 hours to extract the juices.
Add water and strain through a fine mesh strainer. Store in the fridge for 2-4 weeks.
