The same 100-guest wedding can range from $3,500 to $12,000+ depending on the choices the host makes. Rather than quote a misleading flat rate, here’s what actually moves the price:

Guest count and hours of service are the primary drivers. A 50-guest, 4-hour cocktail event needs a fundamentally different staffing ratio than a 300-guest, 7-hour reception with cocktail hour.

Open bar vs. cash bar vs. tab service. Open bar requires faster pour speed and more inventory. Cash bar adds a transaction layer. Tab service (common for corporate events) shifts the financial model but not the staffing.

Glassware vs. eco-friendly disposables. Real glass costs more (rental, breakage, transport) but elevates the perceived quality. Disposables are required for some beach and pool events. We recommend what fits your event, not what maximizes our margin.

Staffing ratio. Miami industry standard is roughly one bartender per 75 guests for cocktail hour and one per 100 for sustained service. Premium events run tighter ratios; beer-and-wine-only events run lighter.

Do you provide the alcohol, or do I supply it?
For most weddings, private parties, and corporate events, you supply the alcohol and we send a shopping list (what to buy, how many bottles, how much ice) based on your guest count and signature drinks. This is the cost-effective approach since you can source from Total Wine or Costco at your discretion. For white-glove events and premium activations, we can source spirits directly — quoted separately.

How far in advance should I book bar catering in Miami?
For peak Miami season (October through April), book at least 8–12 weeks ahead — sooner for Saturday weddings, Art Basel week, and the December holiday corridor. For summer events (May–September) and weekday corporate events, 3–6 weeks is usually sufficient. We do accept short-notice bookings when our calendar allows.

Do you offer Spanish-speaking bartenders?
Yes. Spanish-speaking bartenders and cocktail servers are available on request and are a default option for Miami events with international guests. Most of our team is bilingual — just mention it during your quote and we’ll prioritize bilingual staffing.

Can you cater bar service at a private home or condo?
Yes — home and condo bar catering is one of our most common bookings. We bring the mobile bar, glassware, ice, mixers, and garnishes; set up before guests arrive; and break down cleanly at the end. We provide a Certificate of Insurance for your condo management or HOA 14 days ahead — many Miami condos require this for any vendor serving alcohol.
