The old-fashioned is a sweet, whiskey-based cocktail made with sugar and bitters, and garnishing with an orange slice or zest and, occasionally, a cocktail cherry.

Ingredients

2 Ounces Bourbon Whiskey

1 Teaspoon Water

3 Dashes Angostura bitters

1/2 Teaspoon Sugar

Directions

Add the sugar and bitters to a rock’s glass, If using a sugar cube, make sure to muddle the cube.
Add the water, and stir until the sugar is nearly dissolved.Fill the glass with large ice cubes, add the bourbon, and gently stir to combine.Express the oil of an orange peel over the glass, then drop in.
