Creating a Thanksgiving feast takes a lot of time and effort! However, after the meal is served, it’s time to relax with a festive drink in hand.

Rather than a pumpkin spice latte, we’re thinking boozy Thanksgiving cocktails. Here are some cocktails that will spice up your holiday party and fill the day with additional flavor. Any of these cocktail ideas are certain to be a success, and they’ll taste even better when served with your Thanksgiving food.

We don’t advocate drinking all of these Thanksgiving drinks in one night, but you’ll probably want to.

The best Thanksgiving themed cocktails of 2021

Below are the top 15 cocktails we recommend mixing up for your friends and family this Thanksgiving.

1. Apple Pie Sangria

Sangria is usually in our top 10, but when combined with the apple pie taste and to-die-for copper glasses, we’re sold. This is the *ideal* cocktail to serve in a pitcher on Thanksgiving Day.

2. Apple Cider Whiskey Smash

This is an incredible seasonal take on a classic whiskey cocktail. With just three simple ingredients, you can whip up this cocktail throughout the craziness of Thanksgiving day.

3. Cinnamon Maple Whiskey Sour

Even if whiskey isn’t your thing, after tasting this cup of Thanksgiving-themed delight, it may become one. If your feast lacks a traditional cocktail, you’ve *just* discovered one.

4. Cranberry Margaritas

While cranberries are associated with Christmas, cranberry sauce is a Thanksgiving treat, which is why we had to approve of this margarita. The lime juice and salted rim elevate this cocktail to new heights.

5. Bourbon Spiced Pear Cocktail

Who knew pear was the new “it” taste for the holidays? We’re pleased we discovered this since the combination of sage and thyme, topped with spices and cinnamon, has us completely smitten.

6. Salted Caramel White Russian

Brace yourself for this decadently creamy cocktail. You could omit the pies and cobblers entirely and simply drink this.

7. Cranberry + Cinnamon Whiskey Sour

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, this is the beverage for you. With two cups of cranberries AND two cups of sugar in a recipe for four drinks, it’s fair to assume that after just a few sips, you’ll be perked up.

8. Slow Cooker Spiced Wine

This warm beverage has us in a good mood—warm red wine and brandy with spices and citrus in a crockpot, AKA complete nirvana. Not to mention that you can leave this in the crockpot with a ladle for visitors to serve themselves throughout the day.

9. Spiced Cider Margaritas

For many, lime margaritas are a Taco Tuesday staple, but maybe it’s time to branch out? We believe the answer is YES. Cozy up with a glass of delicious spiced cider laced with tequila in front of the fire.

10. Apple Cider Mimosas

We’re not sure what else screams brunch more than this. You now have the ideal beverage to enjoy while basting the turkey.

11. Salted Caramel Apple Martini

When you serve this to your relatives and friends, cocktail hour will never be the same. All you really need is a splash of caramel vodka and some apple cider.

12. Apple Cider Mojito Recipe

While you may be tempted to omit the recipe’s crucial ingredient, cinnamon simple syrup, it’s worth the additional trip to the grocery shop if you don’t have it. Additionally, do not be concerned! This mojito retains plenty of fresh mint.

13. Apple Cider Moscow Mule

Everyone knows that ginger beer is what makes a Moscow mule a genuine mule. To be honest, what differentiates this beverage from others is the use of hard apple cider rather than standard apple cider.

14 Pumpkin Spice Mules

Mules are much more adaptable than we previously believed, as shown by this pumpkin spice variant.

15. Pumpkin Pie Martini

This sweet cocktail is the ideal post-dinner beverage. Serve it beside your Thanksgiving dessert buffet for a taste of authentic pumpkin pie.
