Bar Equipment for Africa in association with Coruscent Co., ecoSPIRITS, Tales of the Cocktail Foundation and Bar Tales Africa
Unloved, unused bar equipment will be given a new lease of life in the hands of our bartending communities in East Africa. Your equipment donated during Tales of the Cocktail® 2023 will be shipped to Kenya and distributed by the incredible folks at Bar Tales Africa and, along with some basic training on its use, will then work hard to elevate East African bartending.
We are so lucky in the developed world to have easy, affordable access to bar equipment. This is not the case in Africa. Whether you have a couple of bits and pieces lying around, or you’re a Brand Manager with storage lockers full of equipment with last year’s branding on it and no way to use it in market, we are here to relieve you of those tools. They will be much loved and much used in Africa.
Where Do I Donate My Tools During Tales of the Cocktail 2023?
The donation area will be placed in the Beyond the Bar space in the St. Charles room and will be available to attendees Monday, July 24 through Wednesday, July 26 during the conference.
